This Spring saw the completion of Bridget Cairns work with PEI Association for Community Living. Bridget was a vital leader and advocate with PEI ACL for 15 years. Bridget dedicated her time with ACL to ensure that the rights and values of persons with intellectual disabilities and their families were recognized. One of Bridget’s priorities was that individuals and families voices were heard. She worked tirelessly to ensure necessary policy and systems change happened to build inclusive communities for All. The Board and Staff of PEI ACL want to take the time to say ‘Thank you’ and wish her only the very best of luck in all her future endeavours.
