PEIACL SUPPORT-MATCH DATABASE

Joseph Déry, Support Match Coordinator

902-388-5432 | supportmatch@peiacl.org

PEIACL’s Support Match Program connects individuals living with intellectual disabilities to empathetic, capable, and caring Support Workers. This provides relief and peace of mind for families supporting loved ones, as well as the opportunity for positive relationship building between these individuals and their matched with worker. If providing care for those with intellectual disabilities interests you, or if you provide care to a loved one with an intellectual disability and are seeking additional support, please contact the Support Match Coordinator.

The goal of the Support Match Program is to recruit and assess potential Support Workers, then to connect these Support Workers with any individuals requiring aid in caring for a loved one with an intellectual disability. This ensures that families in need of assistance have quick access to good workers. If you, or anyone you know, is in need of finding support please have them contact the Support Match Coordinator.

PEIACL is able to connect families to potential respite workers/staff through our database.

The database is for families with loved ones with intellectual disabilities who are seeking in-home support such as: Respite Care, Community Access, or Family Support Programs.

If you are a potential support worker looking for an opportunity to make a positive difference by spending time with a child with a disability and their family either by paid employment or on a volunteer basis, contact the PEIACL Support Match Coordinator to learn how to register on the database.
